Let's see some pictures of your course...

I'll start off with this dusk shot i took last night off our 15th hole at West Lothian Golf Club - looking east towards the Forth bridges. The colour is starting to come into the gorse now and hopefully it won't be too long until the trees start to show signs of colour.

DCB, what's the course record at the merchants? It's a very short course, but having never played it, i don't know if the difficulty level makes up for the short length?

bernix, you play at a very very nice looking course. Some of the holes look fairly straighforward, but there's some crackers in there. What a difference having proper images on a club website.

Our 10th fairway after the greenkeepers attempts at new drainage!

Lovely photo DCB.

Here are photos of the only 2 courses I've been a member of;-

The first at Craigielaw GC in East Lothian

And the 8th at Nairn Dunbar GC in....erm... Nairn. Bonto in the picture.

some of the pics can be misleading. for example the tee shot on #13 (pic 8) looks narrow but actually isnt whereas the tee shot on #15 (pic 11) looks straightforward but the woodwork offers good chances to earn a drink from your fellow competitors.

#13 has been remodelled after these pics have been taken. now it is the most difficult hole on the course because unless you have a really good tee shot you have no chance hitting the GIR because of the trees on the left blocking the entry and even if you have a clear path to the green there is still the burn to clear. Look at the strokesaver:
