A New Section?

Not sure if this has been discussed before, but would it be worth having a new section for stuff from GM Towers?

Just noticing at the moment (and I know it's a bit of a one off) with all the Q's from GM and the competitions, almost half of the default list on the lounge is from GM and could get lost in the melee of the other threads?

I know there's the sticky function but, for me, it loses its emphasis a touch when 5+ items are stickied.

Maybe a section with any Q's plus competitions etc might clean it up a bit?

thats actually a decent shoud tbh. I know these things come in fits and starts though but a sperate section would indeed stand out on the main forum homepage aswell

Or be lost in the clag

The thing is most folk I think use the new posts function rather than going into the actual section of the forum (well anybody I spoken to does it that way) I also think it would be a fairly stagnant section as the stuff doesnt really come along that often apart from the monthly poll things which tend to be two posts.

I reckon the response on polls would be a lot less then when sticky'd in the lounge.
It is unusual for such a large number of questions MikeH did actually try and put all the q's in one post.

Absolutely fine

No worries either way, and to be honest, as you've mentioned above, the area could be pretty empty for longish chunks of time.

Might be worth keeping in mind though, particularly if GM want to do more question-type stuff. I'd be more than happy to go into it once a week and fill out 5 mins of questions etc they needed it for mag research!
