A good game at last

Went out as usual for a knock this morning, started of with a par then having got stuck in the bushes picked up on the second, the next 16 holes finished +3 gross. Quite a few missed birdie puts, my GUR % was very high today compared to usual.


In the bar after I picked up £5 for NTP on the 9th, £5 for highest front 9, and £5 for highest back 9 as well as £20 for overall. I also picked up a 4 shot cut on my handicap. The 'committee' decided 1 for winning and 0.5 for each pont over 36. Started today on 12 I scored 42 points, so for next weeks friday game I will be off 8.

I doubt I will be visiting the winners circle for a while
