When I stayed on my own after a 20 year sentence I took great pride and pleasure in keeping my flat clean and tidy. I still do the cooking and ironing now that I am back into a serious relationship.
To me an untidy, dirty house is a sign of lazyness and lack of pride.

That was me last Wednesday! I cleaned our house from top to bottom. When I cleaned the upstairs I listened to Lisa Stansfield. When I cleaned downstairs I put Take That on!

I was stripped to the waist with my marigolds on - I couldn't have been happier!

Nowt wrong with a clean house pal.

house work should be undertaken only when events conspire to keep us off the golf course, there is none on the box, and you have run out of crockery/cutlery/etc - but as murph suggests - it's the servants job anyway
