Have changed from the default neutral/fade to a D3 setting.

Going to test it later but now playing

+.75 degree and draw setup (D3) setting.

Do these settings really change the ball flight?

i had the titleist at +7.5 and draw bias thats getting to the dege of it's adjustability, if it makes no difference you have the wrong club. I had, changed and bang I'm back.
I do not care about titleists blurb their clubs are for the best players, high handicappers struggle with them.

Yes, I had mine set to the lowest loft and the ball flight was noticeably lower and when I opened the face it was stupid slicey. As to the comment of the clubs are no good for higher handicaps I dont agree the club is never at fault it is the swing that is used.

It isn't exactly a trade secret that clubs are set up to help golfers. Eg closed and weighted to help a slicer as in the Ping K15 and others that are weighted to help get the ball up, if not all of us would be using blades and tour quality drivers. The D2 is a tour quality driver and as such has no help in the design for higher handicap golfers who tend to slice or hook the ball. It does adjust but not enough to really help a golfer above single figures. I suppose you could say it's the swing and you would be correct to a certain degree however there are clubs on the shelf that are better suited to a golfer who doesn't have a repeatable swing. Don't you agree? My pro told me there is nothing worse for him than seeing an average club golfer come through his door with a fist full of dollars asking for the newest latest tour design driver, he knows it's coming back in a week or two.

Fair enough but are you saying you never hit one good shot using the 910? If you did then its not the driver thats all I am saying and I would say it is the most forgiving titleist driver I have used.

I was fitted badly for the D2, that was admitted by the head pro where I was fitted therefore I was up against it from the start. I had to put the best swing I had to get a good result which made it very difficult to get it to go well for me. I was refitted and the result has been night and day.

Duh. Course it has, that's because the R11 is obviously the better club! ;)

I disagree. The D2 is more forgiving than the D3 and therefore more suited to higher handicappers although the difference between settings is very slight and you would need a very consistant swing to notice the difference between settings.

Haven't you just contradicted yourself a little bit there? How many higher handicap players have a repeatable swing? If you are not single figures I'd look at a driver with a LOT more help than any Titleist.FFS Rory Mcilroy couldn't hit the thing straight when his swing was put under pressure, that's got to tell you something.

Isn't the R11 a Tour Quality Driver too, just with lots of adjustments...?

The D2 is more forgiving, admittedly not as forgiving as some Pings and Callaways but perfectly playable for most - much like the R11.

If having a repeatable swing is the basis for having a driver or not then most of us should stick to a 3 wood - but that's no fun.....

So because you got fitted badly the titleist is crap and only for single figure players as it is a "tour" driver much like the R11 is a "tour" driver..........
