There must be numerous clubs, both members clubs and clubs attached to "muni" courses who have the same challenges to deal with.
Trying to cajole 5 day fees into paying 7 day fees just to play in a few extra comps isn't going to end well.
Don't actually see a problem as 5 day members are often there of their own choice as it suits them that way.
