OK, my swing is taking shape so here's a first review of my trial club.
I have a 43.5" driver with 12 degrees, lent to me as an experiment. I wanted to try one either to use as a driver or as an oversize 3-wood.
I'm holding off drawing a final conclusion until I'm settled back into my normal routine of practice/paying.

Three early-days comments;
1) I can safely say that finding the middle of the face is not a problem. Using wet balls, it leaves a splatter mark which is encouragingly in the centre of the face.
2) The "feel" of the club is spot-on (the design utilises the correct weight in the head and shaft to be a regular swing-weight) and in terms of launch etc. it works just great.

The downside?
It's less straight than my 3 wood and doesn't go as far as my Wilson Spine that has a whopping 46" shaft.

So far, not so good then. I wouldn't feel more confident of using this club vs either my 12* Spine or 13* benny, so only time will tell.

I CAN conclude that a short shaft will help in middling the ball, but it doesn't matter whether you are holding a driving club or a 6 iron, if you are going to leak it right or whatever, it's not going to help!

The indian, not the arrows. :)

PS, as I have it as a favour, the details need to stay under wraps (like a new Mercedes out on the test track) so Mum's the word.

If I end up keeping it (unlikely just now) I'll post pictures and more info.

Given up. Club to be returned tomorrow.
Hitting my Dymo2 3 wood and Spine driver much to well to mess about with this club.

The End.
