4 ball am-am success

Afternoon all, just wanted to let you all know about my success this weekend.

I played for my employer in a 4 ball am-am, best 2 scoring on each hole, for the Lions charity.

It was a successful day for the charity making over £1,000, and our team won by 6 points.

But most pleasing for me was my form. I played to 4, 6 under my handicap.

Gil, as you may or may not have read I have been fighting the demons and the weekend was a nightmare for me. I am however glad you had a sound performance and also helped raise plenty of lolly for charity. Well done.

Mad, the one thing I know about golf is that one week can be awful the next brilliant and then awful again!

Unless you're the Tiger expect the worst - that's what I do and as such I'm rarely too unhappy with the result.

Good for you, Gil. We played Sunday in very strong wind. Had to skip 2 holes as it was so exposed we could barely stand up, let alone maintain enough balance to swing!
