3 Wood recommendations

Doubt I'll try the Razr (don't like the look) but the 910F and R11 Fairways are definitely on the list.

HID got me a TM R11 hybrid (RIP shaft) from Direct golf after my son suggesetd it to her.

Initially I was very sceptical as my game isnt so great to need the top of the range gear. However I have found it is a fantastic club and bridges the 3 iron gap nicely. Would recommend trying it to see if it works for you.

Since then I have been offered a R9 3 wood so gonna try that out to see if the feel is similar. Already changed to an R9 driver which I grabbed cheap when someone upgraded to R11 and found thats going great guns also.

Try a few makes and see how they work out.

Consider an old school Taylormade V Steel - See that Golf Bidding website circa £40

Great Clubs, cant beleive they were discontinued!

Just a little warning, if you do get the 910F you don't get the tool with it too adjust it, you have to pay extra for it! which is a complete con if you ask me because it's not a cheap club.

Apparentley you only get it when you buy the driver.

Iv had a few 3 Woods and i regularly ditch my driver for months on end and just hit the 3 wood as moch as i can from all situations...
Iv hit wilson staff, Cobra S2, TM, Callaway, the stand out one for me though is the one im currently using...

Pings G15....Its stupid easy to hit and you get the same flight off the fairway or out of the rough as you do off a tee....

Another one in the 4 wood camp, picked up a G15 with the same shaft as my driver for £70 recently.
Its just that bit easier to use than a 3 wood with similar distance and better control.

I've got a mizuno mx700 3 wood and i love it, so easy to hit from the deck or the tee, tried the full works before buying it last year, they're discontinued now so should be able to grab a bargain!

Totally agree, i have 3 and 5 wood, pair cost £130. Very forgiving and long, and great off the tee as well as the fairway.
