2nd hand irons

Evening all,

I've had a set of Wilson Fat shaft III irons, I've had them for around 6 years, without playing them too much until the last 6 months. These are the irons Here

The question is, for a high handicapper, presumably these are more than sufficient?

I've seen some second hand clubs, which are on the cheaper end of the market, so I'm wondering if they're worth considering! I've seen some 'scruffy' Wilson Di7s for £80 and some Yonex Vmax for £120 - does anyone think it's worth splashing out for, or just get on with my older Wilsons???

Also seen some steel Callaway X18 for £125 - are these any good???

they are GI irons so should be just fine for you

do you get on ok with them?

To be honest, I do pretty much.

I probably don't need another set yet, would probably benefit from getting a new set once I improve!!!
