I believe with a bit of extra effort and focussed practise, 2026 is the year I can make it through open qualifying

The good thing is, it only takes 8 rounds to do it.Thanks for the support, but I’ll be keeping this on the DL.
All I need to do is shave off approx 12 shots per round and I really think I can do it.
Safe travelsClubs will be getting there final outing of the year on Sunday when I have a round with Mrs M. Might be lucky if I’m home for a round at Christmas but not likely.
Winter this year will consist of trying to get a few swings in each day in my room out in Norway when I’m actually in it with a training club I’ve packed to take with me. Other than that won’t be swinging an actual club until end of March/April when I’m home..
2026 Goals: hopefully join a club again, if I can get closer to scratch that’s a bonus. But main 2 goals will be play more rounds with my wife and just have fun on the course enjoying the game and the company of whoever I play with.
I'll continue to play through the winter. My winter practise will be exactly the same as my summer practise... non-existent.
My target for 2026 is to enjoy playing golf with my mates. This has been my target every year since I began playing and, so far, I have a 100% success record.
Need to develop a repeatable/dependable short game for shots from 10-50 distance
Shoot a few more sub 80 rounds
...Actually I'll be happy in '26 if I just do these two things
