I think Justin Rose is a great each way bet for the Order of Merit - 33/1

No way - he won't be playing enough in Europe to have any chance, although having said that I do think he will come closest of any European to pinching a major this year...

Sorry Furyk but have to disagree with you big time on Rose and Majors... he is not a consistent finisher or a nerveless player - check out his performances in the USA at the end of last yr...top golf but kept throwing it away and then his victory in Australia was very wobbly - he might get close in a Major but think he will crumble on day 4.

I just hope a European wins a major. 1999 seems a long time ago. I grew up watching Seve, Langer, Sandy, Faldo, Woosie, Ollie consistently winning majors. Where is the inspiration for the next generation of golfers.
