If you had a handicap of 21 and were in need of a new set of irons but had a shortage of money.....
What would you get for a 21 Hcapper under 200 pound?
I am just interested to see what people would do!

I'd buy an almost new set of MD Tungsten Ti2 irons with graphite shafts from Smiffy for £150.00

Either a set of callaway X series irons, taylormade RAC HT's or mizuno t-Zoid's.
For someone struggling with distance or height, callaway every time.

im a mizzy player, but check out AG and get fitted with wilson di7 irons for 199(send me the pound change) read the reviews. i tried them and did like them but could afford the mizzys mx200s.

I am more than happy with my irons and can get them for about £200. Could do worse than a set of Cobra SZ

Good advice, they are very forgiving, and you could trade in your old set and have change from £200.

Maybe look at a used set from ag or that mate, probs pick up a good set of tm irons for that money and make sure you get a chance to hit them first. I had a set of tm lt2's for 195 until i changed to my tp's and they were great.

Too many good sets out there on the 2nd hand market to have a definitive view but whatever I bought I'd have to hit the actual clubs before I buy

Half decent 2nd hand set. Off 21, I'd go for some old Callaways. Off 12, I went for some Mizunos.
