Oh for a bit of consistency. My round yesterday included a 2,3,4,5,6,7 and a 8 and ended up going round in 82. The most annoying part is that I was only 30 yards from green in two for both the 7 and 8.

I played on Thursday and despite hitting the ball reasonably well ended up with three ugly 7's on my card. Two of them on the two par 5's on the course and one on a par 4 where a bush and an evil green with a wicked slope conspired against me.
Stupid thing is, that played sensibly the two par 5's should be 3 pointers no problem at all. But like a dope, I tried to glory my way out of trouble.....

Had a gross 80 on Sat, with a treble bogey 7 on the 2nd. Oops.

Played yesterday and missed the buffer for the seventh game in a row.
Went out this morning, sank three 20ft plus putts on the first,second and sixth for pars, birdied the ninth to turn with 21 pts--5 over par gross---only managed 12 pts on the back nine for a total of 33 pts.
Talk about a game of two halves.
