Awesome - well done. Playing Ecclestonein April. What's the rough like?

By April the rough is starting to thicken up, to give you an idea by may last year it was 18inches in the thick rough, some gets quite clumpy. The try to get it going on links style in many areas. I'm sure you'll enjoy it, pretty flat track but quite challenging.

The HIO felt great, yes surreal. I stepped back initially as I didn't feel comfortable. Settled back in nice smooth 7 Iron, slightly back in my stance to keep it down a touch. Bounced 2&1/2 yards in front of the flag, checked on 2nd bounce rolled straight in the cup didn't even rattle the pin. I couldn't believe it myself, I even asked a playing partner if it had gone in. Then whooped hollered, and checked my insurance. Bill exceeded the ton, hope it rains next time.

Closest ive got is 6 foot on our 120 yard par 3.....from the tee it looked around a foot (ball behind the pin ) appearances can be so deceptive
