Hope your all playing well.
On Thursday hubby and I played and I broke 100 for the 1st time at our new club, I had a 45 going out and a 48 coming in, as I feel I have been playing really well I put my card in under general play. I expected a cut but was told by the handicap sec that as this was my 1st full 18 holes under 100 they would rather wait and if I did it again in the near future they would relook at my handicap, their reason was that cutting me the full amount would be unfair and too big a drop hence if I do it again I must submit the card.
Yesterday I played in a stableford comp and scored 38 points with a blob
I have now been given my 1st cut of the season I have gone from a 29 handicap to 27, I am well chuffed.
My goal for the season is to get my handicap down to 21/22 by the end of summer, not too much to ask I think.
