I was sorting out my cart bag for tomorrows round and thought how easily it would be to have 15 clubs. My bag has 14 dividers plus and additional slot for a putter, so easy would it be to fill up all the dividers with clubs and not realise that you have to many. So 14 clubs and a putter.

Has anybody done this and should bags be made with 13 dividers and a putter slot, or stay the way that they are?

Strangely my Ogio bag has a 15 way divider so no idea what the extra one is for. Cannot be for an umbrella as it has a separate pouch for that.

is the 14th slot not so as you can put your putter in there and cover it up when it's raining?

that's what i thought anyway.

that's what I thought, I have an outside put well but when it rains I put my putter in the spare divided

You can always put a ball retriver in a 14th 15th slot. TBQH I've tried standard multi devider type bags before & with each clubhead laying across another most of us would be batter with the old fashioned 3 or 4 way devider system unless its of the Quiet system or similar variety.

Save all hassle and get a stand bag and carry the clubs.

Ah yes, the joys of chink, chink, chink, for 3 hours...rofl.

Actually when I was refering to 3 & 4 way I was regering to stand bags, though tbh, there is nothing wrong with carrying a tour bag, especially as most of us rarely use both straps on a stand bag.
