£50 to spend on shoes! suggestions anyone?

Personally I would wait until you have £100.
I made the mistake of buying a pair of Nike Heritage, I am a not a whippet so need a comfy shoe.
I ditched the Nikes and bought a pair of Adidas Tour's, I find them great. I have also been told that the FJ's etc are fantastic.
My motto is "if your feet aren't comfortable, your body aint comfortable"
This is only my opinion but for the sake of holding off another couple of weeks your better off buying a really decent pair.

adidas tours are very comfy shoes but every pair of adidas shoes iv had leaked badly when it was raining

I'd go with Footjoys. Greenjoys if you need them now, or spend a little more on AQL's, if you can wait. I've had AQL's for a couple of months & very happy. I wore Greenjoys for a good few years & likewise, was happy with those.

If they still have them Direct golf has softjoys for 40 quid, I just got some and cannot wait until the better weather to wear them, they are like slippers. Don't get the heritage's I had some and they were pants, Greenjoys are good I have them for this time of year, they just wipe clean. Other than that put 20 to your dough and get some AQL's.

Gazbut,

I have these shoes in black and they have been superb, ok only worn them once but it was like puting slippers on straight out the box, comfy and light with decent support.

It was wet and I had dry feet, for that price they are a snip, cant go wrong in my opinion and look good as well. I would purchase another pair and that says it all for me.

I need a pair of shoes for summer. Got a pair of Hi Tec (stop sniggering at the back) off Sports HQ and they are superb when the weather is wet and the ground is soft but I've found them to be like walking on concrete blocks when the ground is hard.

Any suggestions? I've got arthritis so need a soft sole with plenty of support.
