£300 - Waste of money!?

So I've trawled the 'GPS - waste of money' thread. And god knows how I've stayed out of the 'debate'. I normally enjoy such discussions!

So let's assume that you have £300 knocking about. Yeah right!

What would spend it on and why?

Personally, I'd probably just use it to play some 'away' games. As for a lot of folks, moneys tight, so I'd want to get some enjoyment out of the £300.

Id spend some of it on a new bag and possibly a smaller and lighter electric trolley. If i wasnt going for the trolley id spend the rest on as many golf away days as i could.

Would love to try out some new irons so £300 would be a fair way towards a new set. Do not even dare try any at the moment as the chance of me walking out without a purchase are about the same as me walking out of the pub without having a few beers.

Would also consider a try on one of these D3 drivers. I do not think I have ever seen the forum agree so universally about the quality of a club so if I had the money one would be worth a try.

Having just got a new driver and irons, I'd probably spend the £300 on a new 3 wood and a pair of new Footjoys for the summer.
