I started looking at these for you.... There are loads on golfbidder. I would go for either the cally's or the ping k15's! Always great service from these guys as well....

Those on golf bidder aren't new matey. Big Berthas aren't bad, would need to be the newer model as opposed to the 12 year old ones.

If you are a lefty, then Ebay is the place to look. Much more a 'buyer's market'!

I usually recommend MX25 or MX23 (predecessor) and there are well priced sets of each of those. So you will have some cash left over for lessons! The MX25/23s are Game Improvement irons that plenty keep even when they are down to single figures/Cat 1.

I have a set of Ping G10s and can't recommend them enough. Really easy to hit. I rarely make poor contact with the ball.

The ball flight I get with mine is quite a high launch, almost mortor like shot with quite a bit of check when the ball lands. Personally I really like this since I know that my iron shots will go a certain distance. If I'm 120 yards from the pin for instance, a 9 iron will get the ball up high and it'll drop on the green like a stone and only jump forward 2 or 3 feet.

I swear they're indestructable also.

Really recommended, you could do far worse.
