    Zoned and Drawn Tee Times

Sometimes reporting it results in nothing anyway. One of the guys i reported did get a comp ban because it wasn't his first time being caught. Also paul, i expect you arent bothered but the way you're going on it looks like you are the one who's a bit sensitive on the whole cheating when you...

    Zoned and Drawn Tee Times

I am playing with a guy in he near future who is off a similar handicap to me, but in truth should be 5 or 6 higher, he always plays in the same groups and I've seen them taking gimmes or dodgy drops a few times. Regular cheaters arent a problem, because they cheat themselves into having a...

    What buggies do you have

Yeah, definitely something funny there, unless you are out playing everyday... I would be unimpressd with anything less than 500 rounds, and it should do alot more. A 63ah should be nearer 70ah and limited, so after your 5-6 years of normal use maybe you'd be expecting low 50's for capacity. 35...

    What buggies do you have

Interesting on the batteries and breakdown points. I would expect the battery load to be easier to manage, and a replacement to be due after maybe 6/7 years, 12 months implies some other issues. Breakdowns similar not sure why it would be any different from a double.

    What buggies do you have

My club barely has any, you only really see one out on the course at any time, golf is about walking the course!! (in fairness, our course is not well suited to a buggy, and its quite short so less need for sure) I'm a fan of the single buggies, there is one member who has one and you'll see...

    Notta area

Had a pair of messages :) maybe people in the nottingham area don't always fancy admitting it! Charnwood Forest looks very nice, and actually on the james braid list, will drop you a message, expect that the weather will have something to say about next week though!

A first on the golf course yesterday

Embarrassingly i mostly find my own golf balls from previous rounds :( i did however once find the captains pro v1, that had a little extra joy in the find, they are human!

How many hybrids do you have in the bag?

    PCC unrealistic or what?

I had an event where net scores were in the range of -3 to +3 with maybe two or three who were much over yet pcc was 0, seeming quite odd and normally i would like to check the calculation. Not really great that there is no visibility of the calc, and i can't imagine how the pcc will ever move...

    Woking GC 13 July 2021

I'm in agreement with exactly what crow said, too much for one round. Hope that they make a more equitable offer.

    Beginner, where to start?

Sats reply is bang on, if going new however i may well go with just buying an iron set and have no driver hybrids or wedges, that way you can be way more focused on getting something, for example looks like you could get the m6 irons under 500 new. Pick up a cheap putter, bag and balls and you...

    Hard greens

I caddied for a guy in a club match where the greens were rocks he straight up was refusing to play it short and roll on so missed all but one or two greens despite carrying them on, definitely got adapt! I'm yet to play somewhere that i dont leave a pitchmark approaching with an 8 iron or...
