Yup, mate has had the handle break as you describe - fixed FOC, and then last week the small wheels at the back snapped off while going up a slight incline - again replacement part provided at no charge. As you say not what you would expect when paying a premium price.

For club hire, try Sunshine golf - close to Mijas Costa on the main road - they will also arrange tee times as well.

+1 for Santana great course and very welcoming clubhouse. Also Torrequebrada in Benalmadena is very good, but maybe too expensive if you are looking for cheap golf.

+1 for Boxing Day test at MCG MotoGP at Jerez in Spain is another that I never tire of and hopefully will get back there next year.

If it’s blowing a 3 club wind then both will present a challenge that I am sure you will enjoy. As previously said take the opportunity to play both if you can, but if you have to choose one, go for Murcar.
