Sports records that may never be broken?

Just take a look at Wayne Gretzky's Wikipedia entry. Many of those records will never be broken. #99 is a legitimate hero to me for many reasons but one sticks out more than most. Despite all of his achievements in the game of hockey and on/off the ice after Canada's 4th place in the Olympics...

    New cats

Took our kitten to the vets for the dreaded removal of man parts a couple of weeks ago. I'm sure that when I fetched him he knew exactly what had happened judging by the look on his face and the shake of the head I got. Little bugger.

    Under Armour Winter Gear

I would however be interested in their footwear offer. When I was in the States a couple of years ago I bought a couple of pairs of runners and they're really comfortable and seem to have lasted ages.

    Under Armour Winter Gear

It may have been equipment specific to another particular sport that I care for but the impression given was whole range. Don't kid yourself with the Tottenham thing. Perhaps they buy the products as a customer?

    Under Armour Winter Gear

I recently heard that Under Armour are going to stop importing into the UK across their whole range (not just golf) so get it in quickly.

    Warning - Low Bridge

Whilst I agree in principal with the sentiment it isn't quite that simple. A fair few of those vehicles in that clip were rentals posssibly with drivers who haven't ever driven anything bigger than their SUV. Mostly the ones that said 'Ryder' on the side. Also the height of the vehicle SHOULD be...

OMG.... beer + ebay and a cheeky bid = not good

My mate once bought a bmw z3 on ebay after a few jars one afternoon. He got it for quite a bit less than he was expecting to pay for one anyway (he was idly looking at them for the missus at the time) but committed when he was juiced up. Sale stuck. 3 years later they've still got it.

    Airplane rant

Why are you blaming the kids? I'd be looking for the parents to take action against their child's behaviour. My point re BA is that there is less likely to be several 'tracksuit families' due to the higher costs than Jet2 or Easyjet. Just a point, when a child were you whiter than white? Never...

    Airplane rant

British Airways fly to the Canaries as well as all the budget providers. You get what you pay for. Put up or shut up.

    holiday insurance requirements

http://www.sladdininsurance.com/ Sort both me and my Dad out every time, both with pre-existing heart problems. I paid £39 for a week in the States including the travel and baggage bit.

    Cleveland cg16 ???

I've got a cg16 wedge and it's brilliant. Black head looks dirty very quickly though. I had a look through the demo bag for a driver and gotta say I was impressed. I will also say they're on the radar when I change clubs.

Biggest contrast in neighbouring golf courses

Far as I was aware the one you're on about is still a JB's?

    Cycling to work

I'd skip the MTB or hybrid stage and just go for a road bike because that's what you'll end up with anyway. It becomes addictive. I ride 5 miles each way 3-4 times a week if I can and try for 15-20 miles on my day off. Oh, if you thought Golf was expensive for gear you're in for a real shock mate.

    Fulfilling an ambition...

I've always wanted a classic VW Beetle. Once we've got the wedding out of the way (2014) I'm gonna start looking for a 70's GT with high back seats etc. White. Or red.

Shops that sell your favourite food?Name the special ones..

Been going to a takeaway in Nottingham (Tipoo on Alfreton Road) for their double cheeseburger meal for about 15 years. It's always stayed in the same family and to be honest the consistency shows. Meal has doubled in price in that time but it's still bloody good value. Other favourite is...
