    Golf in Fife

Anstruther Golf Club is a cracking course and with just the 9 holes can be played in early in the morning or afternoon after shooting 18 somewhere else. Nestled right along the coast the the scenery is fantastic and Rockies restaurant - named after the course’s feature fifth hole - is great for...

Recommended Pros in Scottish Central belt?

Hi everyone, Can somebody suggest a good pro in the Scottish Central belt that they've had lessons with previously? I had a few lessons in 2020 when I got into the game during the pandemic but my mind got cluttered with so many thoughts working on drills for numerous swing positions using...

Worrying times ahead for golf clubs

Our club is having a finance briefing for members at the end of this month to give a view on where finances are at end of season versus forecasts and how we are performing in year two of what is a five year plan. Secretary clear information won’t be audited or final accounts but should give an...

    Easiest courses in Northumberland?

Didn’t play it but walked the 9 hole in Alnmouth a few years ago and thought it looked great, spanning a stunning coast line. The fairways from what I can remember didn’t look too tight and a couple of the players I spoke to on first tee were high handicappers who’d not long joined the club...

    The 150th Open

Thanks - weighing up whether to park and ride or just jump on the 95 bus which stops just outside our caravan in Crail.

    The 150th Open

To anyone local, are there park and ride sites on each side of the town. Last time I went to Open in St Andrews I drove from Glasgow and was at the park and ride just past Cupar. Coming from Crail this time and wondering if there is another parking facility on that side of the town?

Golf around Dundee - The Open Weekend

Getting out on a Saturday could be a real challenge. In high season you will struggle to get links in your price range. In most of Dundee, Angus and Fife £80-120 is the range to be paid in July. There are couple of exceptions. Anstruther is a cracking 9 hole links courses and should be...

There are also so many people standing around there had someone caught him faking or cheating the video would have been all over social media.
