I should add, our Club Champion is the lowest gross score over two 18-hole rounds (so a scratch competition), but we also record the scores for a Net Champion over the same two rounds.
Does your club have any kind of qualification for members' entry to your annual championships (CCs)?
We can safely, I think, assume the following:
1 - You're a current member (though there may be a minimum period, i.e. so you can't have just joined the day before)
2 - You have a current WHS...
By the way, I got a response back from one of them (the same one as sent the first message) just before 11pm:
"Don't worry about it."
Not sure that's quite the optimal approach to gathering any sympathy from the competitions secretary!

But my question was really about RandA rules.
We use online entry for our Monthly Medals (plus a few other comps when there's no carbon-based unit available to fulfil the scorer duties), for which we ask that the marker enters the player's score via the MasterScoreboard webpage after agreeing the scores with the player after completing the...
Yeah that's the same email the 5 and 7 day members got from Caroline the manager.
We also heard the 'Birch' name. The hypothesis is that the site will become a closed-gate wellness venue with 'glamping' accommodation.
Prior to the pandemic the hotel seemed reasonably busy. Coming off from the...
