Not been in the game to long (4years) started off with run of mill clubs and then when i decided that i enjoyed this sport i thought i would buy a nice set.
Because i was a lefthander i was influenced by Phil MICKLESON so brought Big Bertha set with X woods , sofar so good. H/C down this season...
Being a newbie i do not hit my driver to far (230)the problem is that it goes straight for 200 and then indicates left for 30. Driver in the cupboard for now. Getting used to 3 wood 180/190. no rush, i will keep practicing.,

Some days good, some bad, some damright awful but i keep coming back for more because i love the game.
I was speaking with a fellow golfer who asked me what i did after a round. i replied saying that sometimes a drink and a chat, a break for sandwich after nine. it depended on what time i had left. sometimes i just enjoy a round and go home. He said no wonder clubs are struggling if all golfers...
Can only play on days off and usually take the wife to work so around 10 is ideal ,Problem is the traffic,its so busy you have to leave far to early if teeing off earlier but sometimes i fit in 9 holes after 5 when time allows.

I play off 23 and i have had the same problem with my driver.So far left it was embarrassing ,so for now i use my 3 wood and find it easier.
Driver taken to the range to get more practice and when comfortable i might put it back in the bag.

Just to let you know that last week i visited Teeofftimes and no need to use vouchers, it was cheaper through them. yesterday 8/7/10 a round of golf £10 at local course Quindell. started looking for next week.
