If the apex forged are 4-PW then I think you are looking at about £289 - still more than you paid for them but not the £400 you are looking for.

£160 for an old set of Cleveland CG7's that would have fetched £70 on ebay max. Bought a new Titleist 816 Hybrid and only cost me £20 - could probably have tried to find the hybrid cheaper elsewhere and go down the price match route, but being honest I was happy with the deal.

I've used a few over the years and still have a Callie F in the garage - great putters that were very prevalent on tour at one point. Shame to see the demise of the brand.

Well done on the Eagle. I was a member at Merrist Wood but left 8-9 years ago. Fond memories of the course with some good holes. What sort of condition is the course in these days ?

I'm going to stick my neck out and suggest that the course record will go in the first round of the tournament ;)

Set of Ping G series irons would be a good option, forgiving but not offensive to look at.

I'm pretty sure these are legit and if I was looking for a hybrid and had a shaft ready to fit I'd probably get one

I've got 3 of their polo tops - excellent quality, they have washed well and not lost their shape. Highly recommended.

I don't think sun mountain make the titleist sta dry any more - they used to. I've just got an Ogio Aquatech which is very light - I do have some concerns around durability though (probably should have just gone for the H2NO)

I got a new bag from them recently. I asked if they were just running the stock down until they close in mid August. The chap said 'yes pretty much', but if there is something you are after (set of irons, driver etc) they could get it in as they would still make a small margin on it.

Interested to hear how the club performed ?

I've got a pair of the Adidas and have to say I really like them. Can't compare them to any other models as my first pair of spikeless shoes - no complaints here though.

Shame. Played there many times and always enjoyed it. I did however, always feel Mentmore was trying too hard to be something that it wasn't though. Lets hope a buyer comes in and can turn things around
