Have played it twice now on golf holidays and despite playing off 9 i struggled, the fairways were very narrow and the rough was very high. Really enjoyed it though and we are going again in May as we haven't been for 5-6 years. Ideal location for a lads golf holiday though.
3 weeks today I will be going on a stag week when I am best man, never been golfing in Portugal before. We are staying in Albufeira and playing Morgado and Alamos although not to the standards of the courses mentioned in this post I am sure they will be just fine for 8 guys with hangovers !!!
I have booked a stag do in Portugal in 3 weeks time. For £400 we have flights, car hire, 4 nights stay in a 4 star hotel in Albuferia and 3 rounds of golf at Morgado and Alamos, which I am told that although new courses they are still a decent test of golf. I don't think this is bad value...
Played this about 5 years ago and it is extremley hilly. Went for 3 days and I have to say this was my least favourite of the 3 places we played, my favourite was Hardelot Pines and we also played Le Touquet Foret. I love this area apart from the nightlife which is a bit dire.
Off to Portugal...
A bit of help please.
I am best man for my mate and he wants to go to Portugal for 5 days for the stag. Any advice on where to stay and play and which company you use to book. We are on a bit of a budget and need some nightlife. We are planning to go April/May.
Any help greatly appreciatted...
