your worst club

i have no problem making contact with it either off the ground or tee. its just that i produce a big swinging left to right slice that makes it pointless. ive tried many times with grip, stance etc. same result. lobbing a bit off the end of it is a last resort kind of thing.

Most of the clubs in my bag tbh! 5-6 irons are terrible, can't hit them with any degree of consistency, I can't hit my 3 wood for toffee of the deck, but I get a good flight from a tee, tbh it's very up and down, if my swing had even the slightest bit of consistency I would be a half decent player!

I don't have a worse club in my bag. Nor do I have a favourite. Once you start that thinking you are putting doubts into your game. I kow I can hit every one of my clubs well and just have to trust myself to do it. OK we all know the chances of a 13 handicapper doing it well and often aren't great but at least I back myself over the ball with whatever wand I have

Driver when there are any trees around, but if I am playing links golf it suddenly becomes one of my best clubs. St Georges Hill should be fun this Wednesday.

Since I replaced my 3 & 4 irons with 3 & 4 Hybrids I have a great relationship with all my clubs.
