Saw Craig Revel Horwood in Snow White panto yesterday afternoon with the kids.......at least they liked it

On the bright side, the female support dancers kept my interest and Snow White wasn't bad either :) :)

Ocean Colour Scene next year for me.

Also want to see biffy clyro at some point.

Funny someone mentioned Mick Hucknalls antics. We were doing security at one of his shows once and he came off stage and said to one of our lads, "Chuck us that towel, theres a good boy"

Fair to say hucknall beated a swift retreat from the building.

If you get the chance,go and see them...great live band.

I am totally in love with them, not in a gay way obviously, but their music absolutely blows me away, tracks like machines and god & satan are total genius. Obviously the singles are great but even every single album track is awesome.

Unbeliveable that I havent seen them live yet but seriously, 2011 will be the year I do.

I'd love to see Green Day but not in a 50,000 capacity venue.

I saw them at Brixton Acadamy. That's a pretty good venue.

My next gig is Madness. I last saw them at Brockwell Park in the early 80s, and my daughter has bought me & mrs H tickets to see them in Brighton tonight.

I'm not totally convinced about these old band revival gigs, but I've heard that if you drink heavily, then it all goes swimmingly well.

I suppose I'll have to sup it up for the sake of Suggsy.

BTW did I ever bore you ( sorry TELL you ) about when Suggsy told me to F*** Off?? And he comes across as such a nice young man

Saw Fish last night. Great intimate venue, nicely full but not rammed. Decent service at the bar and not expensive. Acoustic set with just him, keyboard and guitarist and stripped down versions of a lot of his solo stuff and lots of Marillion stuff too (Jigsaw, Incubus, Incommunicado, Kayleigh etc). Very good and his voice is stronger than it has been in recent years. This format seemed to suit him

Simply Red at the O2 Sunday night - full house (good ol' Brits undeterred by a bit of snow, though the trains were trying hard not to participate - other half was worried about getting home).
Good show, and Macy Gray was pretty good - is her backing (?) singer ever a loud mouth!)
Bad points, it was being filmed for live showing in a cinema near you. they had a fill spot (for atmos effect), OK when they where moving it but its rest position was pointing straight in my eyes - not good if you are a migraine sufferer.
And those seats! . . . cut the circulation off in about 15 mins
