It's mainly been comedians lately for some unknown reason. Billy Connolly, Eddie Izzard, Dara O'Briain, Rhod Gilgert & Al Murray. Going to see Ed Byrne next year. I have been at the front doors of a few halls picking my daughters up though. They never seem to want me there for some reason, I must remember and ask why :) :).

Then again maybe not, I hate it when they call me an old git!!

Not sure if you've seen Rush before, but they are absolutely awesome live.

I saw them Here:

on their Vapour Trails tour. It was a bit special!

No you didn't you saw nothing from up there. ;)

:D It's actually not as big as that photo makes out. The surroundings are "big" but the actual amphitheatre area is relatively small. Makes for a good gig.

Looking forward to going to the Peel in Kingston. In my youth it use to be the strippers pub where you'd put a quid in the pot at lunchtime for some old hag to take her kit off. Only went cos the pool table was always free and the boss took me (honest). Looks like it has been turned into a decent venue now.

I was in Liverpool at the weekend to see Frank Turner, superb gig, a very talented singer songwriter. Ed Harcourt as support act was not bad either.

Sadly, my next gig is JLS.

My other half's company has a box at the O2 and they've invited us and she didn't like to say no.

Can't wait.

Er, doesn't mean you have to go mate! My wife and a few of her friends are going to see Take Shat at Wembley next year, and the cost of her ticket is more than the Blackmoor meet so I have a nice comeback to any "are you playing golf again" comments :D :D :D

Refusal not an option. She called in all the markers I owed for sloping off to play golf. :(

Fair chance the course will still be shut that weekend anyway. :)

Tell you what, there's also a lot to be said for the pub singer. We dropped into a pub locally and there was a guy with a guitar playing to backing tracks. Decent enough voice but a good musician and he did a load of decent stuff (Floyd, Oasis, Procol Harum, Led Zep). Never seen him before but I'd go watch him again

Poor by posts so far but we are going to see Peter Kay in feb and the wife is heading to Dublin in June to see Bon Jovi.

The wife and I saw Bon Jovi @ the O2 earlier this year.

Also went to see Kiss at Wembley, not bad for a bunch of ageing rockers :D
