So come on lets have a confession session, what is that one item that you cannot walk past when its in a pro shop, for me i have 2.

Balls:

I only play with Srixon AD333 in the winter, or Wilson Staff DX3 in the summer, if im in a pro shop and their on special offer, i simply cant say no. Currently the shelf indoors has 6 doz of each on the shelf and there's prob 2 boxes of each in the car..

But the main one... by a long shot is Adidas Clima-cool T shirts... i seem to have this obsession where as i simply can not find it in me to walk past one if its a colour that i dont own. Its not got as bad as must have every color, but if its a something different or a unusual shade or color i simply cannot leave it on the shelf, i reckon i must have 8-10 different color schemes of same t shirt, and if i see another one this weekend id no doubt buy that as well

so come on lads... spill the beans.

Usually nothing as I can't help but compare to Ebay prices. Being female and small I get stuff for silly prices clothing-wise and buy my balls off there too (when I buy them as not too fussy as long as they're a quality ball).

So I support the pro with lessons and club purchases but never clothing and stuff - unless I have vouchers or it's a club top etc!

i cant pass a sportsdirect without going in and getting something. Whether its a t shirt, trainers, golf tee's...Can't deny them my cash, they are sooooooo cheap!!!

Was on a business trip to Burnley yesterday, spotted a sportsdirect. The day before that i didn't have a lob wedge...now I do. £7.99 Dunlop 64 degree LW...job done, thank you very much. Its not a Vokey but it'll do me for now, plus its better than not having one. Plus its a black head, which i think looks pretty!

an endless supply of Pink Castle Driver Tees for my daughter, if she is practising with her driver she can go through a full pack, they just seem to break very easy.

Some would beg to differ.

My short game is a lot better since getting rid of my 60 degree lob and just having PW, 52, 56.

£7.99 is properly cheap though.

Got to be a nice pro v in the 2nd hand ball selection.

Pro shop has box of refinished and grade A pro v1, so I usually snoop about in there to pick out anything really good.

That or some fancy coloured tees.

Phil

I can honesty say nothing!

If I'm in the market for something I'll shop around but I wouldn't say theres something that "I must have"

I have very good impulse control. One of the advantages of always being skint

this is where i really need to improve, if i go to a pro shop i normally always buy something. I think silvermemre on sunday was the first time i didnt buy anything, but that was because teh 2 sets of trews i wanted they didnt have in my size...

I did make up for it by ordering new shoes that night though ;)

Having a stay at home wife a young son and only one income does have it's benefits

I'm in the market for a hybrid at the minute, so just doing my usual internet price comparison.

For some strange reason its only when I'm in Amsterdam that I can't walk past a shop window without going in and buying something!

Don't really know why that is!

WHaaaaaaat?! Do I have to find all the posts where you say you don't like hybrids? ;)

I'd recommend looking at Cobra (natch!) and also Adams. Then you can buy a Mizzy any way.....

You're quite right Monty, Never found a hybrid I got on with and found my long irons more consistant.

Tried an Adams A12 and V3 and they were really nice, but a little pricey. Dont like Cobra clubs, especially drivers. They sound like you're hitting the ball with a frying pan.

Since taking the Mizzy MP fairway out on the course a few weeks ago (and subsequently buying it) I've been itching to try the hybrid. I managed to get a hold of one last weekend and the 20* MP CLK fits the gap nicely between my MP Fli Hi 3 iron and 5 Wood. It also give me a better option out of the semi rough.

My main dislike for previos hybrids was probably down to how high they launched, but the Fubuki shaft in the CLK gives a lovely flight (to my eye anyway) and with it having a square face, as opposed to slightly closed, again suits my eye a treat.

The MP Fli-Hi 2 iron may find itself in the for sale secton soon
