Your must purchase item... the one you cant walk past...

You're quite right Monty, Never found a hybrid I got on with and found my long irons more consistant.

Tried an Adams A12 and V3 and they were really nice, but a little pricey. Dont like Cobra clubs, especially drivers. They sound like you're hitting the ball with a frying pan.

Since taking the Mizzy MP fairway out on the course a few weeks ago (and subsequently buying it) I've been itching to try the hybrid. I managed to get a hold of one last weekend and the 20* MP CLK fits the gap nicely between my MP Fli Hi 3 iron and 5 Wood. It also give me a better option out of the semi rough.

My main dislike for previos hybrids was probably down to how high they launched, but the Fubuki shaft in the CLK gives a lovely flight (to my eye anyway) and with it having a square face, as opposed to slightly closed, again suits my eye a treat.

The MP Fli-Hi 2 iron may find itself in the for sale secton soon

You and I were peas in a pod till I happened across the TM white headed rescue thingymajig that's currently in the bag, yes its white, yes its not that pleasing on the eye but boy it feckin well works. Its a maaaaaaaaachine!

Thing is, and this is going to sound really daft it's going to feel weird having a 3 iron and a 3 hybrid in the bag.

I know people are going to ask "Why have you got 2 clubs the same in your bag"

To which I shall reply

:temper:

Putters for me, you'd never guess.

Was trying a Scotty Cameron Kombi-S the other day that really was very nice.....

Don't really like SC putters if I'm honest but that one was rolling the ball very well.

At least now I have the obvious deterrent of another little one on the way to keep my card in the wallet :(

Best putter I have owned NWJ. Go on......you know you want too

Gloves for me, I really like the Nike Tech ones with the fabric backs, very comfortable in summer and most of the season I use them if not pouring down.

Fairly hard to find so when I see em I buy em.

It is gloves for me. It is a trek for me to get to somewhere like DG or AG so tend to leave something, usually a glove or balls.

I may find myself having another dabble with it this weekend.......

Sale of the house just fallen through though so back to square one with that, there just might be some spare cash floating around now I don't need to immediately pay for solicitors fees etc etc....
