Just to keep it separate from the main Masters chat - what would your Masters dinner be?

I'd probably just go for a ribeye steak for main, with creamed spinach and perhaps a sour-cream infused mashed potato. (Edit: Just thought I'd maybe have a little portion of mushroom risotto on the side as well.)

For starter, maybe a little seafood concoction with king prawns and some scallops would nice.

For desert, so many great options, sticky toffee pudding is a good one so hats off to Rory there. But I'd be tempted go for a nice carrot cake with the perfect fondant cream on the top.

For drinks, Oreo milkshakes all round obviously. 😁

Starter-Crispy Barbecue Beef Satay.
Main-Haddock & Chips in Cider Batter with Mushy peas and Tartar sauce.
Dessert- Homemade Apple Pie with Custard.
Followed by Stilton & Biscuits
Drink- Caffreys (or similar)
Monkey Shoulder & Ginger ale with the cheese course.

Jellied eels
Roast lamb and all trimmings
Cherry crumble with custard and ice cream
Variety of cheese with plain digestives
Drinks of your choice as not a big drinker these days

I would go for a tapas style, pick and mix menu. Maybe different cuisines for each course, Indian, Middle Eastern, Spanish and possibly even have an English course with mini toad in the holes and stuff.
Big ice cream sundae, knickerbocker glory style or a chocolate fudge cake for dessert.
Drink would be lager, prosecco for partners and dandelion and burdock for the non drinkers.

Great question…..

Starter: Scallops with Chorizo and a sourdough garlic bread to mop up the sauce.

Mains: Fillet Steak with Beef Dripping sauce, with sides of Onion rings sides l Mustard mash and Mac & Cheese.

Dessert: Tirimisu if nobody likes that I’ll have theirs 😂

Drinks- Every table gets a bottle of Bumbu rum, with Pepsi Max mixers. They have a choice then drink it neat which is lovely and smooth or have it with the Pepsi which gives it a more caramel flavour and the Non drinkers can just have the softies.

There absolutely would be a cheese course of Stilton, Mature cheddars and grapes. Wash down after with some nice Irish Coffees.

You lost me at dandelion and burdock 🤮. I’d rather drink my own piss 😂

Prawn cocktail, 80's style. None of this deconstructed, twist on a classic nonsense 😤

Seafood paella

Lemon Meringue Pie

No cheese 🤭

Sangria or drink of choice

I fully respect the Danny Willet choice. He stuck with what he likes, not what he thought others would be impressed by.

This made me go and look up what he chose. Fair play; who doesn’t like a Sunday roast.

I’d have definitely added one stipulation though - must be served with proper English mustard. Teach the Americans that the tasteless abomination they call ”mustard” is in fact cheap mayo with yellow food colouring added (probably).

Starters: Chicken Caesar Salad or Clam Chowder
Main Courses: Full Rack of Baby Back Ribs with choice of sauce, or Homemade Chicken Pot Pie, both with Mashed Potatoes and Corn. Or Large Cod and Chips!
Dessert: Apple Pie, Vanilla Bean Ice Cream.
Drinks: Guinness, Rolling Rock, Coca-Cola, Johnny Walker Blue.
Take Home Gift: Homemade Sausage Roll.

Breaded garlic mushrooms
Main of a Mexican prawn linguine
Desert, a proper bread and butter pudding with a real crusty crust, served WITHOUT custard :)

I dont mind if no-one else likes it, thats more for me :)

I would go with some nice fish for main, maybe monkfish, scallop and tiger prawn in a coconut curry sauce, served with rice and wilted spinach.
Perhaps some tapas style starters: iberico ham, grilled peppers, chilli squid, wagyu beef skewers, tandoori lamb chops. A little bit eclectic.
Bread and butter pudding for dessert, made with double cream so just a small portion, and served with custard.
The wine pairings for this menu would probably be a crisp Albarino with the starters and then a nice Chablis with the main.
Red wine and port to go with the cheese board.

Bit miserly on the chip front 😂😂😂
