Full membership is about £850.00 per year with a £750.00 joining fee.
I am a "Fairways" member which costs me £550.00 with no joining fee and gives me 25 rounds a year. If I want to play more rounds than this I can buy them for £25.00 each. My subscription makes each "prepaid" round work out at £22.00 which isn't too bad when you consider that if I were to visit the club and pay a green fee it would cost me £35.00 mid-week, or £40.00 at weekends, even the "guest" rate is slightly higher than the £22.00 (at £25.00) so I feel I get good value for money.
I can play in club Stableford and Medal comps, but cannot play in knockouts. I get an "official" handicap, and apart from the restrictions placed on competition play have full members privileges so can invite guests and play in the mens invitation, that sort of thing.
For me, working the best part of 6 days a week, it's the ideal solution.
