Blimey, you lot make me feel young - there's not a song less than 20 years old in all those choices

En contraire young man, the Radiohead tracks in my top 5 are quite obviously less than 20 years old, as anyone with a modicum of musical taste would have known :D :D ;)

Nearly, wasn't The Bends and OK mid 90's - loved em. There is a penchant for soft rock on this forum though.

94 and 97 respectively I think - can't be ersed trudging the 6 feet over to my CDs to check  :D

Lot of Stones for me,
Angel, Slipping Away, Wild Horses and of course, Paint it Black but possibly Snow Blind Friend - Steppenwolf is the one, with Albatross - Fleetwood Mac, a close contender

I'll concede Hotel California and Freebird but offer Born to be Wild (Steppenwolf), Gypsy (Stevie Nicks) and The Chain (Fleetwood Mac)

Now this is a toughie...

I'd need at least 20-30 possible songs to select from, many of which probably escape my mind.

U2 - Stay (Faraway, So Close) or With or without you.
Queensrÿche - Silent Lucidity
Marillion - No one can (sorry Fish)
Guns N Roses - Sweet Child of Mine
Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb

Runners up

Bohemian Rhapsody, Fake Plastic Trees, Summer of '69, The Winner takes it all (OMG), Back for Good (OMG.. :D)
