OK so perhaps I'm particularly anal in that I have my Top 100 made up into a set of six CDs but we've done films so now it's songs ....

1. Take me home - Phil Collins
2. Never gonna give you up - Rick Astley
3. Wish I had a photograph of you - Flock of Seagulls
4. Red Red wine - UB40
5. Together in electric dreams - Oakey and Moroder

1. Ball of confusion - Temptations (not anything like there other stuff, apart from Psychadelic shack). Try it I never used to have a number 1, until I heard this.
2. Book of brilliant things (Live version) simple minds
3. She sells sanctuary - The Cult
4. The cutter - Echo and the Bunnymen
5. I dont know what it is but I love it - Chris Rea. For memories, I believe the LFC team were singing it in the tunnel before the teams came out when they played Roma in 1984, just before walking into the lions den. I believe some of the Roma players then visibly wilted.

Thought this would be a semi serious topic, but when the OP adds Rick Ghastly in his top 5 I knew it had to be a joke topic.

Sorry but I'm really serious. I've loved that song since the first time I heard it. Got to be honest here, it's your five favourite songs, not "your five favourite that you think will be accepted by everyone else".

Ultravox - Vienna

Saw Midge Ure in concert a couple of months back. His version of Vienna was simply tremendous. The old boy can still bring it! :)
