yonex gripss

I posted a thread last night about grips and looking into it, it seems the shaft is thicker. is this true and if so do i need special sized grips ? There yonex nanospeed grip with graphite shaft.

I was told this by a guy at american golf. Didn't matter in the end as I bought new irons instead but he said the shafts were tapered, so I'd need to find a Yonex stockist to re-grip the clubs as it wasn't straightforward.

Is this for all yonex clubs, for example does it include my irons yonex vmx. How would I find out and how would i find a retailer/pro shop to regrip them

Gripsususally come in .580 or .600 sizing ... Nothing special about that, just buy whatever grips you want in that sizing.

Tapered shafts is usually meant to mean the head end .. Can't understand why anybody nowadays would make a non-conforming shaft.

I have always thought the Yonex grips always looked and felt a bit cheap and sort of took away from their clubs. I hit them at a demo day a few years back and was definitely underwhelmed by the grips and the way they felt in my hand.
