My son was out yesterday getting a Xmas present for his school teacher and he said what about his golf teacher. So we boy and wife were on way to American golf to get him a box of balls and wife just happed to call me on way to tell me.
My reaction was buy him anything except something to do with golf.
So I’ve to pick the present and struggling with ideas any recommendations for a golf coach Xmas present?

...anything but golf is the guidance from our daughter when buying a present for the golf professional in our life. So far he's got a bottle of Chateauneuf du Papa; a dozen bottles of Asahi beer - and tickets for the two of them for a West End show. Don't know if my Mrs has anything further planned for him. Does the one in your life have a wife or partner...the club could send a message to her on your behalf.

I’ll add that the pro in our life often gets a voucher for dinner for two at a nice restaurant from the parents of juniors who are dead keen and progressing well. Depends how much you want to spend.

He does have a wife so tickets might be a good shout to a show and i remember I told him i don’t drink alcohol and he said he was the same. So no booze or golf stuff

You buy Christmas presents for teachers? Why??? Just give them a card.

I was about to post this? Why on earth would you get your pro a present.

Teachers are a bit different they basically are childcare for your kids all day every day until they are older and shape them.

Golf pros do fantastic jobs but we pay them for the lessons.

A card is a nice gesture but a present?

It’s just as a thank you my wee boy loves going for his lessons on a Saturday he really looks forward to it and the pros great with him they get on really well and my boys coming on fast in the short time he’s been going.
My son actually said to his mum yesterday if we are getting my school teacher a present we need to get the golf teacher a present too because I don’t even like my school teacher and we still get them a present lol.

It's nice of your lad that's for sure. Shows you have raised him more

I get on with my pro but I won't be getting him anything 🤣 unless he gets me hitting 250 straight on the course then I'll buy him a car 😆🤔

When I read the OP I assumed the boy went to a fancy school that has golf on the curriculum.

Absolutely anything non-golf, sure to be very much appreciated (y)
