Xmas Board games

This year we dusted off the old Scrabble board and just about managed a game. Just about - because it quickly degenerated into a bit of made up words and name calling and tile stealing. The low point was when the mother in law spell-ed 'DURT' instead of dirt. She nearly got away with it too.

I must say, all this SMS and texting is causing havoc with spellings. I struggled with anything more than 4 alphabets.

Anyone else playing board games this xmas..
 
24 of us at my sisters house last night (family and friends ) and we played charades,never played it for years but was a real hoot also played the game were you stick a post it on your head and have to guess who it is,shambles as most of the older people had know idea who they were supposed to be,my mum struggled for 40 mins trying to figure out who billy bob thornton was !!!!!! great time and doing it all again to night at mine.
