I have spent several visits to the recording studio with several bands and some of that clip is not far off fact. It is very clever how they can multi layer a track and cut and drop duff notes with good notes etc etc

We would spend 8 hours recording approx 4 to 5 songs and then the next whole day mixing it for the final product

I had great fun recording and sending the demo discs to the venues for gigs

The recording studio is a fascinating place to create and learn about real live music and sound

I had a keyboard about 10 years ago that had a built in vocoder. Sing through a microphone (or even talk) and, so long
as you kept good time to the digitised music it sounded pretty good - especially for someone who's singing really did sound like a cat being strangles
