I ordered a driver from these guys last week but I haven't received it yet... and I've not had a reply to my emails or calls.

Has anyone else had a problem?

I ordered last Monday and it quoted that delivery was 2-3 days but as far as I'm aware, it hasn't even been sent out yet.

I paid by Paypal so I'm covered anyway but I was hoping to have it for the weekend.

I just ordered a Mizuno Stand bag and have been e-mailed its due on Thursday.

Only reason i went with them was cos someone else has had good service from them and they are on the good list in the for sale section.

Thanks for the replies.

They seem to have a quite a few issues.

I'll give it until Thursday before I request a refund.

I ordered my Mizuno WP stand bag from them day after boxing day. Arrived 2 days later via DPD courier.

I would recommend them for sure.

I just got my bag from them today despite it not being due till Thursday. So thats Manchester to Inverness in a day almost.

Only ordered it late Monday night, free postage and they didn't try to charge me extra for non mainland uk as most companies in England shire try to do despite Inverness being mainland.

well chuffed

report to follow, by the way Mizuno Fans its the new Aerolite spr bag in black. :)

They sell Ping clubs allegedly.
Found the site whilst trawling for G20's. Good price and was tempted. Contacted Ping to see it they were authorised distributors. Big fat NO from Ping Technical, not on their list and advised to steer clear.

Sorry to pi$$ on anybodies campfire!

was looking at this or the Neo cart bag also in black, interested in your view of it?

I have not used the bag yet but it looks good. I had a Nike stand bag before with the 14 way div and it was terrible. The ball pocket came unstitched and it was very unstable and fell over all the time. I would never buy anything Nike again cos my wifes small pencil bag does the same.

The neo looks good for a trolly bag and would look at getting one myself if i didn't already have the tour staff bag.
i like the new neo's putter well, the only let down with the tour bag is the putter in the to is a bit of a pain.

Golf247 were very quick on delivery i ordered it at 9pm on Monday and it arrived yesterday lunch time and it was free delivery.

I don't know what it is about england shire companies and scotland unless you live in Glasgow or Edinburgh they think everything is not mainland UK.

Tried to buy something for the wife before Christmas and the guy tried to argue with me that Inverness was not mainland as it was " Highlands and Islands"
in the end i told them to stick it.

golf247 was a pleasent suprise.

Great news Patrick.

I've just had the Aerolite WP from the same company (see review section). Very good line of bags IMHO

If you click on a Ping item on the golf247 website, this is what they say:

"Ping believe that their quality products are not suitable for direct sale via the internet and should only be purchased after seeking advice from a qualified golf professional.
We are therefore unable to add Ping products to your shopping basket, but if you telephone us on 0845 2604 247, our professional staff will be happy to help you select the right Ping product."

Good choice

The WP is black (with blue trim) so my MP headcover does stand out a bit :smirk:

The trim on the bag is black, white and red so matches the mp head covers really well. so far happy with the bag it has 4 big pockets and doesn't fall over unlike the nike bag.

I've been using my wife's nike pencil bag and only taking out a half set which is just about all that it will take. she got me the nike sachquach or what ever it was called and it was never any good, fell over all the time the many pockets it was supposed to have were less than usless and the main ball pocket just came unstitched and all the balls would fall out. when i went to pack my stuff to go to the Goswick meet everything fell out the bach so i had to dgd out ny old mizuno GTO bag and i had used that for a few month before the legs fell off.

The Nike went in the bin this morning!

Hello. I hope you are all well. Im Stuart from Golf247 and would like to clear a few things up regarding this post.

The first thing is the post from Mr Learney. You post was done on the 10th January, saying you placed the order the previous Monday, which indicates the 2nd January. Your order was actually placed at 22.18 on the 5th January. The order was then processed in the morning of the 6th January, as we dont work through the night. You didnt give us much chance to get the club to you before complaining! The club was actually delivered to you on the 12th January at 12.28. And taking the weekend into account, this doesnt seem that bad. No reply to your calls, we spoke to you a couple of times, and you were kept up-to-date with the tracking of the club all the way.

I notice Mr Leaney hasnt been back on here to state that he received the club, that he was kept up to date all the way, and that he is happy with it.

Here at golf247 we are trying to keep our customer service a notch above the rest, and people complaining when there isnt really a problem doesnt help us at all. We know we are not perfect, but we try our very best to get as close to it as possible.

Basher: Thanks for the post on the Ping equipment. Our account is registered under one of our shops, and hadnt been linked to the website, so we are looking at getting this sorted now.

I saw that Rosecott put our Ping statement on this thread.

This is how Ping run their policy. Goods are not allowed to be sold online, and this is why it says this on the site.

I hope this clears a few points up with everybody, and i hope we can do business with you all in the future.

Just goes to show you never know who is reading the posts good on Stuart for replying to the thread!

Great post from golf247.

I'd suggest a change in name though, golf 24 hours 7 days a week but you don't work overnight.

I did notice he hadn't been back to tell us his stuff arrived and based on others comments on this thread I'd of said golf247 was pretty reputable!
