Good afternoon all,

currently resting a tendon injury. I have had cortisone injections in my wrist and have been resting a few months. I am now pretty much pain free but still feel like my wrist is weak.

can anyone recommend a way of providing support for the wrist as I look to start playing again?

I have a neo g wrist splint but find it hard to keep my swing and grip consistent.

currently toying with trying out some kinesio tape just as a means of minor support.

thanks!

I have a bone missing in my wrist ( scaphoid ) it was smashed in a footy injury.
Had problems all my life with it .

TBH it’s one of them things that you just can’t wear a support for you need proper advice and rehab exercises to strengthen your wrist .

Tape is a mental cruch and dosnt do anything.

Try and find a physio who deals with cricketers they have lots of wrist injury’s.

The wrist bends every way and wearing a support of any kind just hinders you imo.

good luck with the rehab.

Have to agree with this. Speak to a professional and get proper advice and stick to it and build up slowly and don't overdo it. I remember watching Peter Finch's videos when he damaged his own wrist, came back too soon and did it further damage

Are you doing any remedial work to strengthen the area?
