In light of the present inclement weather and the fact that my old rain wear is due a change i popped into the local shop yesterday after work just for a browse..... More of a budget shopper than anyone ill always try and find a bargain first and i began rooting around in the wetgear section......

I came across this top for 150 euro knocked down from 275...So i stuck a deposit on it so it wouldnt be sold..... It might be last years line or the year before but its a Pac Lite which i like as it easy to carry in my carry bag and not bulky.... I also tried on the top with a liner inside as well but if i was to wear a jumper it was just too bulky feeling..... Im more of a layer guy myself in that i prefer a compression top under a polo and then the rain top rather than a polo a jumper and a rain top but it was the last one left in Medium and its a sporty fit which was nice...

I know that the colour isnt to everyones taste but wont it brighten up a rather grey dreary day...
I also ended up changing my 3 Vokeys for 3 new WilsonStaff Wedges.......

My answer was before I even saw what it was....... But then I knew it would something loud and I do like to push the boundaries of decency in my golfing attire. Good choice though, the colours look fantastic.

I like the colour but I'd never spend that much on a jacket. I like the loud new of the jacket and my new bag is a cobra orange one. I don't like plain black stuff just looks boring to me.

Slightly biased as I am a GG obsessive but it looks good to me. Seems a good price as well.

Ya Pal... A decent price... Like i said im a bit of a budget shopper and i would never have paid full whack even though i know the gear is very good.... Iv had sunnice Gore Tex gear for the past 5 years and its been brilliant..... The pants is only just letting in a tiny amount of water at the moment on my thighs but i cant complain with that as i paid 125 euro for the pants in '08 and 150 for the top..... They were also half price at the time.....

Im more of a stand out on your own kind of guy anyway..... I like to be a bit different...... I could have went for a pants in the same colour Orange but decided to go for the black as it would be easier to keep the black with the muddy conditions..... Although i suppose it wouldnt really matter the colour in muck....

I would not pay full price either always bargains and reductions to be had. The sale rail in pro shops is where I have found some of my best bargains. Thing with Galvin which a lot of people forget or overlook is that you get a lifetime guarantee on their waterproof gear

My main concern would be "Does it do what it's meant to do?" so yes I'd wear it if it did.
My current UA jacket is bright blue and highly "visible".

Well from past experience with Gore-Tex it does and more........ And i dont think that the Galvin Green stuff would be any different........
