Would you still buy a SC4 *pro* launch monitor ?

I’m considering to purchase a Swing Caddie SC4 *Pro* launch monitor.

However, what is confusing me is that the device is often sold out or discounted.

This suggests two possibilities: 1) It is no longer being manufactured and is being completely withdrawn from the market (or SC is bankrupt?), or 2) a successor is already in the pipeline.

The latter would be all the more annoying considering how SC switched from the SC4 to the SC4 *pro* (not an upgrade, but a completely new software).

Does anyone have more information?

To the best of my knowledge Voice Caddie are still operating....certainly still selling through their US website. The SC4 pro though is an old model that has been around for several years, likely that stocks have run down.

Have no knowledge of any potential replacement models.

Or could it be that you are mistaking the SC4 *pro* for the (indeed older) SC4 (without “pro”)?

Anyway, it's good to know that SC still exists!

SC4 was released in 2023. SC4 Pro in 2024.

However I understand the basic underlying hardware between the two models is identical...in that respect I consider it an older model when you consider the newer hardware that has been released by other manufacturers.

The SC4 Pro is widely available but as you say, is widely discounted...£433 on VoiceCaddies UK site.
