Would you pay this for a Scotty.

If I was a collector and I really wanted this one and I could afford it then - Yes I would.

If I lived in the real world - No..........

If I had the money - Yes. I love scotty Camerons and own 2 of them. Have a look at the Scotty Cameron Forum to understand how nuts some people are on them. I can defo see myself buying more Scottys, once you have used one its hard to go back to anything else.

Sorry but I don't see the fascination. Limited edition, off the shelf, special metals or old tin it still wouldn't help me get it in the hole. I do understand collecting them in the same way as people collect stamps, antiques etc and can see how there would be a buy/sell market. Not sure about owning such an expensive one to use though

Can't see the fuss about Cameron Putters at all, might be well made but the majority of the designs are copies most notably of Ping originals, the Newports are just a fancy variation of Ansers and most of the others are direct copies of Taylormades, Wilsons etc, I did have a Red X at one stage and it was the worst balanced putter I've ever had, soon got rid of it for the same amount I'd paid for it, it's like most golf equipment, you think there's a direct corellation between price and performance but it won't stop you getting outputted by a bloke using a £5 Dunlop

What's the deal with those 009 model putters?

I think they are great putters esp the older TeI3 and oil can versions,i not so keen on the Studio Stainless range
