Know what you mean, but in their defence Knopfler very successfully screwed Wembley Arena's attempts to stop people standing at concerts so they're not all dull.

Genesis were appalling on one of their earliest gigs in the very early 70's
Ashton Gardner and Dyke - really only could play their hit " resurrection shuffle" they must have sung it 4 times at least!
