I can only assume his seemingly now constant companion Stuart Cosgrove, is there toprohibit him from his usual boorish pappery. Cosgrove is the only one who seems capable of handling him, and more to the point, Jabba seems to know he's out of his depth as well. If it's deliberate, well done the Beeb, if not, then why not? And surely it can only be a matter of time before he's gone from radio too?
 
Hope his buddy in grime Hugh Keevins follows him soon.

3 years ago I'd have agreed, there has lately been signs of impartiality from Spiers though, so I'll give him a pass.

As said, Keevins, Keith Jackshun, and of course Chicko are all top of the list of propogandists that should be shown the door by the Weegia.
 
God there were so many names that sprang to mind when I saw this headline. Max Hastings and Ian Ladyman at the Daily Mail were the first two in the list followed by Simon Heffer of the Telegraph.
 
Seems that he's off to join Sevco in some PR capacity... a recipe for disaster, but it shows how far Chuckles is willing to go to get the hordes onside.

An arrogant bully of a man who for years has peddled his own lies and agenda-driven opinions. The Scottish media is better without him.

He's awful on the radio, admittedly, but his column is the only thing worth reading in that paper. It helps once you realise he basically attacks everything and everyone and learn to take a step back and think about it when he has a go at your team.

My guess is that if he's quitting the paper we'll see/hear more of him on TV and radio....

I don't have to, and I don't want to give that filth mcKenzie any more oxygen than he deserves.

For what he did to the city of Liverpool, the Hillsborough families, and then tried to sue south yorkshire police for damage to his reputation - I don't use this term lightly, but the man is scum.

+100000000000000. The man is a disgrace, not just to journalism, but to Humanity itself. People often say that the wouldn't urinate on him if he was on fire. I'd urinate on him whether he was on fire or not (Liverpool fans might appreciate the sour irony of that statement.)
 
I got from Liverbirdie's post that he figured in the Hillsborough 'fiasco' (for want of a better word).

Having never heard of him I just wondered :thup:
