Worst Golf Course in the Dorset and Hampshire.

I really enjoyed Hayling. Especially the greens!

But....

If you haven't played there before, there are a few tee shots which are baffling, but then the same criticism could be laid at royal county down, a top two course.

It's not that easy to get into the club house, or get served once you are in there.

It's a bit deserted. In December, when it's freezing.

The company on the course can be a bit suspect, and the odd car in the car park is having a mid life crisis.

I'd go back there tomorrow. I loved it.
Can a car have a mid life crisis ?

Greens were rubbish. You just had a lot of lucky bobbles.

I will throw Parley Court Golf Centre into the mix. Has anyone played there and give your opinions.

I've not played Parley, I use the range. It looks ok ish. They've got some pretty big plans for a new short game area and a course extension. It won't be pebble beach but it will fill a gap.

Comparing parley to hayling is really a bit of a nonsense. It's like comparing McDonald's to fillet steak.

I see the fella who claimed hayling was the 7th worst course in the Portsmouth area didn't come back. I wonder why? :o

Queens Park in Bournemouth. Greens are absolutely awful, dog mess on the course due to it being a public park and bunkers with very little sand and/or builders sand

I have played Queens Park many times and never played well there. My best score was 98. It is a total mess and you would not believe playing there now that Seve played there about 25 years ago.

Sounds like its gone downhill from when i last played there a few years ago.

Queens Park is a real travesty. 3rd and 4th holes have been shortened due to proximity to the road and just a general lack of investment in the course. As a layout, it has some really good strong holes but the condition of the course is shocking. The long, uphill par 4 5th hole is one of the toughest holes in Dorset.
