Is anyone involved or planning to go to any this year with it being the 100th anniversary of the "great war".

There are lots going on in Liverpool on the river and in the city, especially in late July, so we have put our holiday dates back so we don't miss them.

The imperial war museum in Manchester sounds like it has some interesting features so will try to get along there also. If I lived in the smoke, I'd try to get to some of their exhibitions also.

Back to serious matters though, there are no living survivors now, and quite soon it will be the same with WW2 survivors. We still owe a lot to the brave souls who lived and fought through these unbelievable wars. Hopefully we wont see war on that scale again, but I wouldn't bet on it.
